![How do i change endnotes from roman to arabic numerals in word for mac 1 How do i change endnotes from roman to arabic numerals in word for mac 1](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/ltAR7tmqgLY/maxresdefault.jpg)
I am attaching a chopped up sample.
I've done all that, as I always have done, mostly doing footnotes without setting anything. Their style was right out of the box.
The paper needs to be in a CMOS 17/Turabian 9th ed. style: main text double-spaced, 12 pt. Times New Roman (I hate that font but I didn't get a vote).
The endnotes should be
Internally single-spaced
Between notes, double-spaced.
Times New Roman 10 Pt.
Endnote Reference superscript 10 pt. Times new ROman indented paragraph style first line .5 inches indent.
I got the numbers and the superscript going okay but the indentation is not correct and I had to change from lower-case Roman numerals to Arabic numerals
I've been doing this in MS Word, and the derivative SBL style, for over 20 years. Suddenly, MS Word 2019 doesn't know how to do an endnote. I had a similar struggle with footnotes. Those aren't right either.
If I change the endnote reference to superscript, the entire document went into superscript. Making the note numbers 10 made the endnote text 10 pts. I don't know how this could go more wrong. Thanks.

Apr 28, 2020 Fix footnote and endnote references to arabic numbers everywhere? I can't point to an event that triggered this, but of late, every time I insert a footnote or endnote, it has a lower-case Roman numeral reference, although at this moment, my current document has a mixture because I was able to force one of them to an Arabic number. Condor soaring 1.1.4 serial.
How Do I Change Endnotes From Roman To Arabic Numerals In Word For Mac 2017
- I need to reset each first footnote for each chapter to 1. I found a thread from 2010 on this forum about this issue, and apparently at that time there was no way to do it, although the originator said Microsoft Word had a simple way to do this very thing. I am hoping that OpenOffice/LibreOffice now can do it too.
- Flaws with Word for Mac: 1. References (APA, 6th ed.) should be listed as References, but Mac only allows for Works Cited and Bibliography. You will have to manually change it.
